Hibiscus Clove Rosewater Toner: Collagen Toner Better Than Botox

Procedure

  1. Prepare the collagen base tea
In a sterilized heat-safe jar, combine dried hibiscus petals and whole cloves with ½ cup just-boiled filtered water. Cover and steep 20 minutes.

  2. Strain
Pass the infusion through a fine mesh or coffee filter to remove solids, yielding a ruby-red, spice-scented concentrate.

  3. Cool & blend
Allow the liquid to reach room temperature, then whisk in rosewater, cooled green-tea infusion, aloe-vera juice, vitamin E oil, and glycerin until evenly mixed.

  4. Bottle
Transfer to a 100 ml dark-glass spray bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks to preserve freshness.

Instructions

  • Patch test first. Dab a drop behind your ear; wait 24 hours to check for sensitivity.

  • Daily use: After cleansing (morning and evening), close eyes and mist 3–4 pumps over face and neck, or saturate a cotton pad and sweep upward.

  • Layer wisely: Follow with your usual serum and moisturizer while skin is still damp to lock in the humectants.

  • Weekly booster: Soak thin cotton pads in the toner, lay them on cheeks and forehead for five minutes as a flash mask.

  • Shelf life & hygiene: Discard if the scent changes; always keep refrigerated and avoid touching the nozzle with fingers to prevent contamination.
